Material Analyst/Engineer Intern

An opportunity for an intern to join one of Singapore’s largest plastics suppliers.

Job Purpose:

To develop material knowledge such as material properties

To advise material specifications and their applications to satisfy customers demand

Analyse material applications and customer usage

Analyse material process technology

Review sources of supply and technology

Areas of Responsibilities:

Liaise with major suppliers to understand engineering material properties and their applications.

Review new applications for the current materials. Propose and communicate material information to help business development team to understand new product applications.

Willing to support other company operational activities as and when necessary.

Qualifications:

Diploma or higher in Chemical Processes or Polymer Technology or Materials engineering

Desired Profile:

Must be a diploma holder with good computer skills

Ability to work independently

Good communication skills

Knowledge and fluency in English and Mandarin

Good problem solving skills

Design experience an added advantage
