Job Description

The primary day-to-day responsibilities of the intern include taking photography of new products for the site, retouching photography, designing graphics for social media and EDMs, and updating the Shopify website on an as-needed basis.  The intern will also support operational and marketing activities including managing inventory, designer requests, social media management, and customer requests.

The general intern will also take part and support in-person marketing activities.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Take photography for new products

  • Retouch photography for new products

  • Upload products onto Covetella Shopify website

  • Create graphics for marketing activities

  • Manage inventory on Shopify

  • Respond to customer requests and help customers in the showroom

  • Actively run and monitor various social media platforms.

  • Perform competitive research and audience identification.

  • Continuously generating new ideas to be published and shared daily on social media.

  • Collaborate with customer relations and sales to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.

  • Analyze appropriate social data, insights and best practices and then execute job accordingly.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge in operating DSLR cameras

  • Good knowledge of Photoshop

  • Ability to retouch photographs quickly

  • Ability to produce and revise graphic designs

  • Knowledge in online marketing and good understanding of E-commerce

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrate social networking experience and educated in social analytics tool.

  • Adequate knowledge of web design and development

  • Detail oriented and organized

  • Knowledge in online marketing and good understanding of E-commerce
