Coda Payments Pte Ltd – Business Analyst Intern

Coda Payments is a startup that operates an alternative payment gateway in Southeast Asia. We enable merchants to accept payments in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore using payment channels that every consumer can use, even if they don't have a credit or debit card: direct carrier billing, bank transfers, cash payments at convenience stores, and physical vouchers.

The internship will provide an opportunity for an intern to gain exposure to data analysis and data-driven decision-making in several functional disciplines in a data-rich transactional business, mining Coda’s transaction database of more than one million successful transactions to answer questions posed by various functions:

• Marketing: Analyze customer behavior and lifecycle by segment; identify high-value segments; identify segments eligible for cross-promotion and up-selling; compute the lifetime value of consumers by segment

• Product: Analyze the conversion funnel to identify opportunities to increase conversions and reduce dropoffs

• Risk management: Study fraud and suspected-fraud cases to identify early warning signals and propose risk rules to limit instances of fraud

• Finance: Analyze contribution margin by user segment
