OVERVIEW
As a Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the marketing team. You will have opportunities to hone your skills by working on various projects under the guidance of the Marketing Director. In addition, you will have a chance to participate in company meetings and external events.
At the end of your internship, you would have gained valuable exposure to areas such as digital marketing, market research, media relations, press material development, events planning, and internal strategy sessions.
You should be a team player with a ‘can-do’ personality, embrace challenges, and possess strong communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Intern will undergo an orientation session to learn about the various functions of the company. We will also offer you on-the-job training in areas of digital marketing including SEO, PPC and Web Analytics.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist in consolidating data in order to monitor performance of digital marketing initiatives.
- Assist in managing updates of content on corporate website.
- Assist in preparation of client presentation decks and sales materials.
- Assist to coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather marketing content.
- Provide support in rolling out social media initiatives.
- Provide research on marketing opportunities and industry trends for the business.
- Preparation of marketing collaterals including company newsletter, case studies and success stories.
- Support other departments as and when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Students majoring in Business, Marketing, Media or Communications.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess strong organisational skills, a keen desire to learn and ability to prioritise in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel) is required.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design software would be a plus.
