Castlery Pte Ltd – Merchandising Intern

Castlery is seeking Merchandising Interns to join our merchandising team.

You should be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, and have a passion for design, technology, entertainment and the changing media landscape. You must be extremely well organized and methodical while retaining a creative edge for strategic brainstorming and thinking outside the box to find new, better approaches to expanding our visual appearance.

Merchandising Intern

• Work with purchasing department to conduct market analysis
• Responsible to source & evaluate potential supplier and analyze market trends ensuring product reflects brand strategy.
• Assist design team to create trends and inspiration mood boards for new launches
• Analysing past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs
• Undertake ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in industrial design will be a plus
• Eye for detail
• Meticulous
• Independent with good working attitude
• Excellent taste in retail merchandising selection
• Able to start work immediately
• Preferably Fresh grad/Junior execs specializing in merchandising or equivalent
