Business Intelligence in Tech Startup – Business Intelligence Intern

You will be responsible for

·      Cross functional working to identify the best solutions to bring together existing and future datasets to provide (real time) business intelligence.

·      Design, prepare and review reports on the business performance across functions, and insights based on data analytics.

·      Manage and maintain the data collected from business setting including from business operation to developing dashboards / reports for business decisions with a strong focus on business intelligence reports for customers.

·      Preparing ad-hoc reports for (top) management.

·      Do analysis of external data sets and market research (e.g. via google, databases etc.)

·      Turning data into business insights / knowledge for business growth opportunity.

·      Ultimately create and maintain a comprehensive, effective and customized reporting structure / process framework for future analytical use in order to support in decision making.

·      Contribute to data processing and quality improvement in all data sources and identifying solutions to transform manual data tasks into machine-based solutions.

·      Identify data gaps, and provide solutions to how we can fill these gaps.

Desired Skills and Experience

·      Strong interest in technology, e-commerce and startups is required.

·      University degree or above information systems, computer sciences, statistics, business administration or related discipline.

·      Min. 1-3 years of data analytics experience (could be internships, school projects, own ventures, etc.).

·      Experience working at a software technology company.

·      Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to analyze data and create compelling business reports.

·      Outstanding analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills in English to report findings.

·      Self-starter who can handle being able to make sense of situations when guidance is not as abundant.

·      Able and keen to work in a very fast paced, collaborative, rewarding, and hyper growth environment.
