Buds Theatre Company – Intern (Marketing/Arts Management)

Buds Theatre Company was established in 2007 as a non-profit group with the aim of providing a platform for their graduated youth theatre members who had achieved professional standing through further education.

DETAILED OBJECTIVES

• To provide a platform for young graduates to explore their art.
• To stage professional work by young people regardless of their origin.
•  Acknowledging credible and Internationally recognised standards of theatre.
• Addressing issues current and pertinent to adult audiences in Singapore.
•  Producing a high quality, professional production for the Singapore public.
• To give our own Buds Youth Theatre (Byt·) members an opportunity to work on a professional production.
• To give Buds Theatre Company and Buds Youth Theatre (Byt·) members the opportunity to hone their technical and production skills

Buds Theatre is looking for an exceptional individual to join us as an intern!
If you are...

• a meticulous, organised, and independent worker,
• interested in being a key player in building up a small organisation, and
• able to commit for at least 6 months

Joining Buds Theatre, you can look forward to opportunities such as:

• planning and executing a variety of interesting programmes and events;
• reaching out to different platforms of the media to spread the news about all the exciting things we're doing;
• developing your skill set in key responsibilities such as production management, stage management etc.; and 
• contributing fresh ideas - with regards to events and publicity in particular - which may be implemented!

We are especially interested in meeting candidates with previous experience in business management, marketing and/or accounting.
