- Job Description
- • Process purchase requisitions, obtain quotations from vendors, seek out competitive pricing and maintain current vendor pricing as needed, make a comparison table and present to your supervisor.
• Update and Maintain Purchasing Status report.
• Continually track open purchase orders and monitor near-term and past due deliveries to ensure materials are received promptly;
• Continually communicate order statuses with your supervisor and immediately advise the ordering department when date changes will affect the operation;
• Continually monitor and document supplier performance;
• Assist with logistic activities, when requested.
• Assist in administrative activities such as scanning document and filing when requested.
Job Requirements:You should have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
Additionally, you possess a strong attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.You are extremely organized and an effective communicator.You are at the end of your program as this training period could lead to a full-time job opportunity.
