Breakthrough Training Consultancy is a training & development company on a mission to make a substantial & sustainable change to the future of our nation. Using storytelling, role-playing & experiential activities, participants are immersed into a world where training is not delivered; it is experienced. We craft customised training programmes to fit the needs of various participants aged between 8 to 80. After the conclusion of the programme, we draft them into a conditioning platform to ensure a continuous advancement of their personal journeys & a sustainable empowerment of themselves.

Incorporated in 2011, we have conducted programmes for schools such as NUS, Raffles Institution, St. Margaret's Secondary School, & Jurong Junior College, & corporate clients such as ST Aerospace & the Singapore Chinese Chess Association.

What would you do as an intern?

As an Empowerment Artisan, you will be a specialist in crafting opportunities for training and empowerment. You will work on the sales of our training programmes to government agencies, schools, & corporate clients. This means that your role involves prospecting, pitching, presenting & closing. Some of the things you will learn include:

• How to customise a product specific to the needs of the client

• How to write a programme proposal

• How to source for sales opportunities

Empowerment Artisans will also be given opportunities to engage in business development & strategic planning. You will be involved in C-level meetings & have a say in the direction & strategy of the company. Some of the things you will learn include:

• How to run a start-up in Singapore

• How to network effectively & grow the business through partnerships

• How to map the direction of the company for optimum performance & growth

Selected interns will also be given hands-on training & curriculum development opportunities.

If you have a passion for youth & the training industry, or you want to experience working in a start-up, this is for you.

We are looking for people who are:

• Students in their final or penultimate year of study in an undergraduate degree programme. Recent graduates may apply.

• Good conceptualisers able to understand methodologies & programmes easily.

• Excellent communicators & possess a good command of the English language.

• Highly-driven & self motivated.

• Able to meet deadlines, targets, & thrive on challenge.
