- Job Description
- A fully hands on role with invaluable exposure to various stages leading to a successful investment.Deal SourcingAnalyze market trends, needs and structure. Identify emerging opportunities and/or underserved markets. Interns are encouraged to build their own network and proactively utilize resources to bring in enticing investment opportunities.Pre-ScreeningEvaluate business model, existing operational flow and marketing systems. Scope also includes financial analysis and industry competitive assessment.Investment ReportingPrepare investment report for management review, complete with investment thesis and analysis. Startups exhibiting strong potential in their field of expertise and matching the firm’s investment criteria will have a presentation set up with the board.Final Due DiligencePrepare and issue term sheet after the startup passes board’s evaluation. Assess relevant material contracts, financials, and intellectual property before disbursement of funds.
