Marine Insurance Executive

Responsibilities

• Assist in insurance placement for the group’s vessels, Charter-in tonnage, and maintenance of insurance cover such as additional cover for breach of trading warranties, shipowners’ liabilities etc.

• Participate in the insurance renewal preparation for all types of insurances

• Assist in handling insurance claims, such as Hull & Machinery, Crew, Cargo and other Protection & Indemnity claims

• Participate in the claim settlement negotiation

• Responsible for all claims submission and collection

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Business, Commerce or equivalent. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply

• Candidates currently pursuing ACII or ANZIIF or equivalent are preferable

• Team player who is self-motivated, performance orientated and has good interpersonal, communications and negotiation skills
