Job Description
Modern businesses use many game-changing applications in order to constantly improve themselves. If the entrepreneurial spirit is strong in you, you should really take on a Business Development Internship. Avensys is a IT consultancy company, and they are keen to receive you into their family!
You will be able to brainstorm and chart how Avensys will grow during your internship. Business development is an active process of reaching out to potential clients, talking to people, networking and constantly revising the 'optimal solution'. In order to start your own company, it is important to firstly understand how to allow a startup to mature and grow into a huge company.
Your Task
To expand our customer portfolio (End-User and Consulting Firms) by reaching out to potential clients through phone calls/ emails/ meetings.
To map existing customer portfolio to discover areas of the business that could be developed to serve existing customers.
To develop and implement new sales strategies and processes that you believe would lead to an increase in sales, or increase in awareness of Avensys. This will require you be analytical and creative to come up with the best improvements.
To support strategic decision regarding our geographic expansion in Singapore by finding out specific companies in specific locations who would be inclined to or in need of Avensys' services.
Requirements
You are either completing or have completed your studies at a top university.
You are fluent in English.
You are flexible and with an absolute hands-on mentality.
You have outstanding analytical and communication skills.
You are willing to learn.
You have a deep interest in working within a SME environment.
