Avensys is an IT consultancy firm offering business solutions, and they are on the hunt for a special group of people who are qualified for the job of an IT Helpdesk/ Desktop Support full-timer.
If you have experience either by having a relevant IT NITEC/diploma/degree or a prior job in hardware/software equipment, this is your calling! You will be handling clients' pleas for help and assisting them in rectifying their problems by providing IT support. Avensys knows that the future lies in IT, and that you will be a key player in joining them to impact businesses!
Your Task
As part of the Technical Helpdesk Team, you willprovide IT support as well as in-house Helpdesk and Technical support to end users. You will be communicating with clients/end users most of the time, in order to find out what troubles they are having, and how to assist them in rectifying these issues.
You will also be involved in the installation of testing, cabling and set-up of workstations, PCs and printers. Thus, this job will quite a mobile job, as you can look forward to leaving the office and heading to various locations to help with installation!
Requirements
Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Studies or Nitec holder equivalent.
Fresh Grads preferred.
Prior experience in PC hardware/ software installation an advantage.
Possess good communication skills, both written and spoken.
An independent team-player who can work with minimal supervision.
