Job Description
You'll gain valuable insight into how a new brand is developed and shaped. Working directly with the founder & Marketing Manager, you will have visibility into the entire process - from design and manufacturing to sales, marketing and the customer experience. The scope of the job will be fluid, so you will have the chance to influence many aspects of the business.
Job Scope:
- Own the social media / digital marketing editorial calendar and create content / manage social media channels (Instagram, FB); actively manage August Society community
- Assist with pop ups and events, interact with customers
- Assist with PR research and external communications
- Track and manage inventory across channels; handle customer fulfillment as required
- Manage website / e-commerce content as per management's directions
Requirements:
- Passion for fashion, retail and lifestyle brands; keen eye for aesthetics - this is critical, we can't teach you this!
- Loves interacting with people, outgoing personality and sense of humour
- Highly motivated, proactive and reliable individual
- Fast learner, able to work in a flexible start-up environment
- Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent grammar and strong content writing skills
- Adobe Photoshop experience highly preferred
- Degree / diploma in Marketing, Design, Media or Communications desired
- Singaporean / PR only
- We are looking for someone who can start immediately, with at least a 4 month commitment. Full-time preferred, though part-time can be arranged for min 3 days per week. Current students should only apply if you can commit to the time required.
