Publications Intern
========Job scope==============
The intern will be assisting the Ate Ideas team predominantly with The Miele Guide (TMG):
• Editorial process of The Miele Guide, which is in its ending (and most crucial) phases:-
Matching (and updating info) against past MG database.
Calling up restaurants and restaurateurs to obtain necessary details.
Final round of fact-checking for the final list of restaurants (normally 450 – 500 restaurants in total).
Assisting in copyediting and proofreading.
• Logistical assistance for The Miele Guide Gala:-
Content development for The Miele Guide Gala collateral .
Communicate with prominent restaurateurs and F&B professionals in the region,
prior to and following the Gala dinner.
Assist in social/digital media campaigns to build awareness for all TMG-related
events.
The intern will acquire the following during the course of the internship:
• Experience in working with an integrated communications company
• An insight on how the publishing industry works
• Effective research/writing skills
• Effective communication skills when dealing with vendors/clients/customers
• Effective organizational and logistical skills

We are looking for students with a drive to make things work, especially individuals with the following qualities:
• Good writing and communication skills would be advantageous
• Adept in MS Office
• Eager to learn and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Highly communicative and pleasant personality
