Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced PR & Communications professional who is familiar with Singapore’s media landscape to develop and grow APACIG’s companies brand across the region. You will also work with our Finance team on the reporting an investor relations side of the business – diving deep into each APACIG venture and reporting on their activities and KPIs to the APACIG Board.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with the management teams across the region to gauge business performance and assess their KPIs
  • Reporting on these metrics on a monthly basis
  • Devise comprehensive PR and Communications strategies for each venture across multiple platforms
  • Liaising with media and pitching for opportunities to strengthen our brands (e.g. via interviews, media releases, commentary pieces etc)
  • Working across departments to develop, maintain and drive a rolling editorial calendar that leverages on opportunities across a range of media
  • Managing all Social Media content – taking 100% ownership of all promotions, campaigns and events (working closely with the Marketing & Communications teams)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 2 years local experience in PR (agency experience preferred) – with experience pitching to media and writing press releases, articles and other PR-related content
  • Established Home and Lifestyle contacts across print, broadcast, digital and social media
  • Good command of English (both written and oral) – you will be creative and resourceful and LOVE to write, with the ability to effectively bring your words to life
  • Community Management across a variety of platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, blogging platforms etc)
  • Degree qualified and experience working in a start-up environment (or passion for entrepreneurship) preferred
  • Analytical and proactive, with the ability to work independently to tight deadlines
