You will be an important team player that provides critical visibility and insight into the performance of APACIG and the portfolio ventures in APAC. In this role, you will work closely with, and report directly to, the APACIG Regional Finance Manager / CFO and the respective ventures/business’s Managing Director . You will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the finance function of the group / APACIG portfolio ventures, financial operations, control policies and implement best practices
  • Analyse and interpret financial data and recommend changes to policy, processes, improve systems and financial performance
  • Ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed and providing recommendations to improve financial controls and processes within the portfolio ventures
  • Work closely with APACIG ventures, external service providers on various matters related to setting up of legal entities, accounting, finance, legal, compliance, inter-company charging of costs, tax and other related matters
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financials and tax submissions for the Singapore legal entities within the group
  • Support preparation of ad-hoc management reports, budgeting, finance, and accounting / finance matters
  • Conduct needs-based analysis and producing presentations and/or spreadsheets when necessary
  • Work closely with APACIG CFO, APACIG portfolio ventures, auditors, lawyers, consultants, etc
Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Prior experience at a multinational accounting firm or a multinational company
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (ACA / CPA / MBA a plus)
  • Candidate who is in process of completing their professional papers/experience are welcome
  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently in a fast moving, multicultural start-up environment
  • Intermediary analytical skills with structured thinking capabilities
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting and experience of providing analysis of transactions, other events
  • 2+ years of relevant working experience is preferred
  • Good written and verbal English skills - confident with communicating across all levels within and outside the organisation
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Confident, mature and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strengths in process design, diving deep, thinking big and a strong bias for action
  • Possessed positive attitude to excel, problem solving and creating values within the group
