Job Description
Tom has always had a keen attention to detail. Meticulous, he was armed witha strong analytical aptitude and had a strong passion in engineering. It was often interesting to him to see how operations could be streamlined and improved through introducing processes and systems. More importantly than that, Tom was seeking the perfect summer opportunity that would truly allow him to get a better scope of an industrial engineer and wanted an internship opportunity that would be an enriching learning opportunity.

About the Task
Arcstone Pte. Ltd. Is looking for exceptional industrial engineering interns that are keen on learning and deploying optimization and efficiency techniques in real manufacturing facilities.
Your tasks will include the following:
Data analysis, linear and non-linear optimization, simulations, correlation studies and variability reduction projects.
Working directly with manufacturers to devise solutions to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve quality.
Requirements
· Projects & classes pertaining to industrial engineering, operations research, process optimization, decision analysis and/or simulation and linear/non-linear programming
· Projects dealing with manufacturing operationsand looking at improvements and optimization
· Keen interest in applying what you’ve learned in class in a real manufacturing setting
