Job Description
We are an internet startup, focusing on Social Commerce space. We are live in Beta at www.offersnpals.com and are seeing customer traction. Have received media coverage as well in e27, Sparklette etc. At this point, we need to strengthen the team to grow our business.
ROLE: Business Development/Sales Intern
* You would be responsible for getting local businesses on board our platform. Small local businesses and bigger franchises, both are our targets and we would expect coverage from both the angles.
* A typical day in office would entail e-mailing, cold calling local businesses and meeting them to give a sales pitch about our product and encouraging them to come on board with us. More emphasis on getting out and meeting as many local businesses as possible.
REQUIREMENTS:
* It is a client facing and outdoor role and hence you must be comfortable going out and meeting people. If you are looking for a desk job, this isn't the best choice.
* Mandarin knowledge a definite plus.
WHAT YOU GET:
* Be a part of a growing startup that's being talked about in media as well
* We pay fix S$ 900 for a 5 day work week and performance incentive is extra
* Full responsibility and no micro-management. No "get coffee" or "take prints" assignments
