Job Description
Allterco Pte. Ltd. are specialists in online entertainment with innovative products including online gaming, mobile content, sms based information services, interactive TV platforms, and much more. Allterco Pte. Ltd. operates in over 20 countries worldwide and has a strong focus on expanding into the Asia Pacific region.
Allterco is looking for a multi-talented individual who can perform diverse tasks as an Online Community Marketing Intern. This person will primarily be responsible for assisting the Online Community Marketing Manager in the promotion and monitoring of the social media activities of the online gaming services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the day-to-day operations incl. scheduling and administering game-specific promotions, community moderation, content creation, blogging etc.
• Communicate directly with players, building strong relationships and maintaining a visible external presence
• Monitor discussion forums and other communication media to identify common player issues and discussion patterns
• Promote various game-specific incentives using social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace etc).
• Assist with the execution of community-facing initiatives including contests, volunteer programs, offline events, convention presence, and email campaigns etc.
• Assess, select and distribute new game titles as well as user-generated content
• Monitor online gaming trends and offer recommendations
• Compile and distribute Daily, Weekly, and Monthly community-related metric reports
• Accurately assess and proactively escalate issues, observations, opportunities and insights to the appropriate team members
• Write periodic articles for the company website
• Attend table events and conventions
Requirements:
• Experience of Community Management is useful. Ideally studying for Marketing/PR/Media qualifications.
• Must have a good understanding of new media, social networking, and cutting edge community tools and techniques
• Experience managing online game events, online giveaways, game tournaments is useful
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) e.g. WordPress, Joomla others.
• Hard-working, goal-oriented individual with a strong passion for online gaming, online communities and social networking
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and come up with creative solutions
• Outgoing and approachable personality
• Ability to work independently
