- JOB DESCRIPTION
Opportunity for a Software Engineer to work on a new insurance software project for the global market. Our company requires an experienced developer to hit the ground running and contribute to our team. Candidates will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and also have the ability to work well as part of a team.
The Role
This is an opportunity to gain valuable financial industry experience. Your role will be to assist with the design and to implement new components for this new insurance industry solution. You will be working closely with stakeholders to ensure the best solutions are delivered.
QUALIFICATIONSEssential Skills:
- Agile development approach
- Java programming skills (JSP/Servlet, Hibernate/JPA)
- JavaScript frameworks experience (Angular, JQuery, etc.)
- Experience with Web Services/SOAP
- J2EE container experience – preferably JBOSS
- Good database understanding
- Sound documentation skills
