Founded in 1980, ABI was recognized by B-to-B Magazine as one of North America’s Top 50 Agencies in 2009 and 2010. With offices in New York, London, and Singapore, ABI provides strategic services to clients around the world.

Our Asian office is currently looking for a responsible and reliable individual who displays initiative and who enjoys interacting with others on a day-to-day basis. As a candidate for a PR-related role, you should also be able to demonstrate your affinity for the world of media by being a decent writer, savvy web user and a keen communicator. If you have an interest in media and public relations, and you are interested in working and learning from a dynamic and global environment, we invite you to apply.

The right candidate should possess a professional and confident business presence and style. Interns will be given unique opportunities to develop and execute global public relations programs, and even as an Intern, you will be working on real accounts and be given responsibilities and the resources to tackle any challenges head-on. At the end of your internship, you will have gained valuable exposure to areas such as market research, media relations, press material development, press conference planning, and internal strategy sessions.

Core responsibilities include:

o Developing targeted media lists

o Assembling press materials

o Researching media outlets

o Researching Industry trends and pertinent news

o Assist in writing and editing

In line with our company expansion plans in Asia, we are now looking for candidates who are fluent in both English and Chinese, and can speak and write in both languages (to communicate with Chinese speaking clients). We will also consider candidates who are fluent in at least one other Asian language: Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Indonesian or Thai (to liaise with multilevel languages associates and clients).
