As a candidate for the internship, you should be able to demonstrate yourself to be a decent writer, savvy web user and a keen communicator. Applicants need to be proficient in English, both written and spoken, and capable of communicating in Mandarin Chinese or another Asian language (Japanese, Korean, Thai, etc) to liaise with vendors independently.
Interns will be given unique opportunities to develop and execute global public relations programs, as well as assigned responsibilities and resources to tackle real accounts head-on. At the end of your internship, you would have gained valuable exposure to areas such as market research, media relations, press material development, press conference planning, and internal strategy sessions.
Core responsibilities include:
o Developing targeted media lists
o Assembling press materials
o Researching media outlets
o Researching industry trends and pertinent news
o Assist in writing and editing
Candidates who are currently pursuing full-time or part-time studies but are able to commit to at least 2 or more days per week during office hours may also apply. Flexi-hours can be arranged around your academic timetable. Kindly indicate your available days during application.
