Founded in 1995, AAL is a leading global ocean transport operator, serving the breakbulk, heavy lift and project cargo industry. A member of the prestigious maritime group, Schoeller Holdings, we have grown into one of the world’s largest multipurpose operators.
We service majors within industries like energy, oil & gas, mining, renewable energy, forestry, agriculture and construction. This is done via two complementary divisions: a ‘Liner Services’ division offers schedule integrity, with regular sailings between Asia, Oceania and N. America and our ‘Tramp & Projects’ division provides tailor-made solutions between any compass point and semi-liner services on key trades.
AAL’s expanding infrastructure, network of offices and agencies stretches from Asia and Oceania to Middle East, Europe and the Americas, addressing the demands of a global customer base 24/7. Coupled with our technical & engineering know-how, we deliver best in class cargo transportation solutions.
Our fleet of multiple classes of heavy lift, MPP vessels is the sector’s youngest (ranging from 12,000 to 31,000 dwt). With owned A-Class (31,000 dwt) and S-Class (19,000 dwt) vessels, it is versatile enough to load and accommodate a huge variety of cargo.
Building long-term and trustworthy relationships with customers and stakeholders is the energy that drives us to excel and the ambition that powers us to new horizons.
