Oh, and wicked, cool t-shirts.
9 Fountains is a Singapore based on-line t-shirt store and design community with the mission to help promote young designers in Singapore and throughout SE Asia. Our site targets designers and t-shirt lovers who have the chance to submit artwork/graphic designs online, which are then voted on by members of the community. If a design receives enough votes, we award the artist a cash prize and print the design on t-shirts, which are then sold back to the community.
Launched in 2010, 9 Fountains is a small and innovative e-commerce company started by two MBA graduates from the London Business School. Our intern will be given immediate responsibility and the resources to tackle the exciting challenges that face a start-up before and during launch--experience that will prove invaluable to your future career. Interns will also be considered for full-time roles at the end of the internship period or after they have completed their studies should they prove a good fit for a permanent role.
======= Job Scope =======
We are looking for a top-notch intern to help run our daily Communications and PR duties, which include:
• Management of daily tasks of the communications office
• Help plan and manage marketing campaigns
• Writing and distribution of press releases
• Management and circulation of editorials, and media requests
• Form relationships with South East Asian bloggers, magazines, and other media outlets for targeted product placement
• Daily social media communications (Facebook Fan Page, Twitter, Blog)
• Outreach to designers and potential customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with bloggers and other media channels for targeted product placement
======= Job requirements =======
Students from the field of Business, PR, Marketing and Communications may apply.
The candidate should possess the following attributes and skills:
• A motivated self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys working within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Interested or experience in graphic design or illustration
• PR experience in fashion and/or e-commerce a plus
• Adept in MS Office and PowerPoint presentations
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign a plus
• Language: fluent English; fluent Mandarin a plus
• Strengths: writing ability, rigor, organization, good relationship skills; outgoing and highly communicative
