The boutique budget hostel chain got its name from the five foot way corridor, which was an integral architecture feature since the colonial time in Southeast Asia shophouses. The sheltered five foot wide walkways protect pedestrians from the tropical weather. Within this sidewalk, people interact and conduct their business activities.
Part of The Uncharted Co., 5footway.inn was started in September 2011 and is now the biggest hostel chain in Singapore with properties located in the heritage-rich Chinatown, Boat Quay and Kampong Glam vicinity.

Job Description

If you have, I'm sure you've had this experience in which you felt lonely in a country where you knew no one, or could not speak the local language. Human interaction is a large part of the joys of travelling, beyond merely just seeing sights and purchasing sweet deals at the malls and night markets. This is exactly what we want to recreate at 5footway inn.
We're a inn dedicated for social explorers and aim to be part of every traveller's journey, creating a memory for them through offering a personalised and responsive service that will give an experience with maximum guest satisfaction.

Your Task
Design and manage the production of various artwork such as newsletter, event poster, banner, powerpoint slides, website, etc.
Improve and maintain company's website and the various social media network (e.g. Facebook, Twitter).
Attend to other duties assigned by the Directors.
Manage business strategies for local customers in order to meet sales budgets and targets.
Track and update management of the effectiveness of each marketing activity .
Provide ad-hoc marketing support to outlets as and when required.
Plan and propose customized and innovative market initiatives .
Requirements
Degree or recognized diploma and above in Graphic and Web Design, with 1 to 2 years relevant working experience
Proficient in Graphic software, Freehand, Photoshop and Photography
Positive working attitude, good interpersonal skills and able to multi-tasks
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
