Yahoo! Southeast Asia is looking for interns to join the online editorial team in Singapore. The job scope covers two main areas: curating the best content for the Yahoo! Singapore Homepage as well as producing original news content.

We are on the lookout for bright, passionate, hardworking and dedicated interns who have an interest in pursuing journalism as a career.

You must have a sound understanding of the English language, including having an engaging and easy-to-understand writing style with prior experience in writing columns/feature articles/campus publications.

Interested applicants must have an interest in current affairs. You must also be very familiar with social media and other online social platforms. An ability to deliver under tight deadlines is a must. You must also be comfortable working in a multi-media newsroom, pulling together text, video and audio.



Technical experience isn't necessary, but you'll need to be comfortable with a number of internet publishing tools. The position is based in Singapore and reports to the Singapore country editor.
