The team at
HikeMeUp were frustrated by being continually bombarded by irrelevant
advertising. No matter where we were, whether watching TV, using social media,
watching movies or travelling to work, advertising had found ways to irritate
us with useless messages.
Realising that relevant content is interesting and useful to
people, and knowing that advertisers will always want to reach their target
audience, we came up with what we think is an innovative solution to the
problem…HikeMeUp.
Launching soon, HikeMeUp is the mobile app that rewards users for interacting
with content they actually care about.

On a daily basis, you may be asked to :
- Develop lead list though researching target businesses, identifying pain points / opportunities, and sourcing contact information for decision makers.
- Where appropriate, pitch to businesses to generate advertising revenue from within HikeMeUp’s target segment.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring receipt of all materials in a timely fashion, while meeting client expectations in terms of service.
- Provide general administrative support to HikeMeUp’s team.
- Other suitable activities as determined by HikeMeUp team.
- Conduct secondary research when you have capacity.
- Please note the following tasks will always take secondary priority to development and growth of sales.
- Market research: develop a deep understanding of the target segment
- Expansion research: identify countries ripe for HikeMeUp expansion
- Press research: determine which press sources are suitable and what their requirements are
