Two Bakers specializes in re-inventing French and American style desserts into French inspired small cakes. We will also be specializing in fondant wedding cakes as well as providing dessert tables for events.As for food, we are no frills and all about quality and comfort. We believe that food should fill the stomach, comfort the body and soothe the soul. Our menu is a blend of American comfort food with the wholesome goodness of local flavours.
1. Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
2. Oversee and participate in the preparation and cooking and serving of main meals, snacks, etc. in accordance with specified menus.
3. Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting, smelling, or piercing them with utensils.
4. Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and serve food to waiters or patrons.
5. Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods.
6. Ad hoc task such as ensuring that leftover food is stored properly, performing kitchen maintenance tasks such as emptying the trash and washing dishes to ensure that the necessary hygiene and health and safety standards are maintained in the kitchen and dining room as appropriate.
7. To undertake such other duties as may be determined from time to time within the general scope of the post and to be aware that social activities connected with the home may require voluntary work attendance outside normal working hours.
