The Redundant Shop established in 2013, was created with the intention to purvey inventions, design, and lifestyle for a refined society.
It first opened its doors in one of the oldest housing estate in Singapore – Everton Park. Its presence in Everton Park contributed to estate being labeled as ‘The Next Hipster Enclave’ by The Straits Times.
In 2015, the shop moved to Millenia Walk (a premier lifestyle mall designed by Pritzker Architectural Prize Laureate Philip Johnson) boasts an international selection of lifestyle brands as well as a gentlemen’s barbershop.
The Redundant Shop hopes to share and inspire our clientele through our careful curation of goods to acquire an appreciation of good design and empower them to cultivate a style of their own.
Redundant Shop was voted as one of Singapore 10 coolest shop by City Nomads, Time Out Singapore and was recommended by Singapore Airline’s official publication Kris Flyer as the place to visit in Singapore. It was the only shop from Singapore to be featured on HipShops (www.hipshops.com)
We are looking for candidates to take up The Redundant Internship programme for a period of (min) 3 months and (max) 6 months.
The role of the interns covers a wide scope and the candidates must be from either industry
1) Marketing
2) Design
3) Business Management
The candidates should have the ability to multi-task, have knowledge in Marketing, Design (Graphic), or Business Management. Candidates who have experience in Retail are welcome.
