JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary of Position

The Operations Manager oversees the overall day-to-day operations of Katapult.  The ultimate goals of the position will be tied to guest satisfaction and safety along with operational efficiency that results in profitable sales.  Your past experience should demonstrate your organizational skills, drive and initiative.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and safety
  • Maintain Katapult policies and procedures in all aspects of the business 
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly tasks and processes to optimize operational efficiency 
  • Hire, train, schedule and supervise the court marshals and event hosts 
  • Be our Katapult Community Ambassador to cultivate the culture and vision of the Katapult brand that embraces and ensures exceptional customer service and safety 
  • Work with the Management Team to promote and execute special events 
  • Events and parties coordination 
  • Perform the functions of other team members when necessary 
  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility 
  • Enforce and ensure ALL safety roles and waiver policy and procedures 
  • Ensure all court inspections are completed and submitted as required 
  • Assist with general facility, court maintenance and repair 
  • Identify and research new revenue streams, ways to engage and be relevant in our community 
  • Other management duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Education: Diploma 
  • Minimum experience: One year of personnel management (preferably in a recreational facility setting) 
  • Energetic and friendly personality and love engaging with the community of all ages 
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays 
  • Organization, follow­‐up and multitasking skills are a must 
  • Experience with employee scheduling and cash handling 
  • Previous experience with organizing events e.g. children’s birthday parties
  • First Aid and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a dedicated team player
