Position
Summary:
We are seeking a self-motivated web design/developer intern to join our small
team and assist our Developer and Designer with work for clients.
Experience and
Education Required:
Ideal applicants include recent ITE, Polytechnic or University school
graduates, college students majoring in marketing, media design, web
programming or something similar, looking for course credit and valuable
first-hand education that cannot be attained in the classroom, or someone
looking for this experience at any stage of their career.
You must be willing to make at least a 3 month commitment
Skills Required:
o Proficiency in hand-coding HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP & MySQL
o Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, and Dreamweaver
o Experience working with CMS, specifically WordPress
o A general understanding of jQuery & AJAX
o [Bonus] Knowledge of ecommerce carts, specifically Magento & Open Cart
o [Bonus] Knowledge of mobile application development, specifically iOS & Android
o Understanding of graphic optimization and browser limitations
o Excellent verbal and written English & communication skills
o Attention to details and organizational skills
