Program Overview

Our Internship program involves teaching English in either local schools, kindergartens or language institutes.This program offers you actual on the job training, real life experiences that will separate you from the student who merely learns theory. It will also greatly increase your chances of finding employment, as you will be one-up in the competition having actual working abroad experience. By joining this program you can also greatly develop your communication skills and personal attributes, interacting with people from all over the world, learning how to teach English as a second language to Chinese students.

You will have the most amazing time teaching and traveling in China, locally immersed into the teaching culture, that is “Proved to be Different” The teaching internship will give you the most unforgettable summer. Teaching English in China is becoming excessively popular, but many schools will still require for a teaching certification or previous teaching experience in order to apply. However, If you are current and willing student with related or paper qualification, and yet wants to be a summer intern in China? This program is just designed for you!

Eligibility Requirements

• Be between the age of 18 and 29 years old
• With a clean criminal record
• Have at least a Diploma / Junior College / High School Education
• Physically fit and in good health
• A high proficiency of spoken and written English
• Enjoy teaching and tutoring children.
• Ability to commit for at least min. 3 months, 6 months or 12 months.

Intern’s Benefits

• Free room and board living with a Chinese Host Organization
• A monthly pocket money from CNY2,000 SGD$400 to CNY2500 SGD$550 (depending on different host organization)
• Orientation and Training
• Reimbursement of air tickets for 6 and 12 months program**
• 6/12 paid days off as a vacation at the end of the 6/12 months program.

Intern’s Duties

• Teach English in the host organization (Discuss about the content and materials with the Chinese teachers in the host organization before teaching).
• Corporate the host organization with some activities.
• Light household duties (tidy your own room and keep public area clean after use).
• Sharing culture with the children and teachers in the host organization
• Corporate with Local Partners about the marketing promotion activities.
