Salisbury Media is a small digital design and development firm in Singapore, seeks student or new professional for a 3 month full-time internship in the position of Social Media Specialist.

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for development, execution, and monitoring of the social media strategy for our new online publication. This will include:

• Identifying and building our fan base in various segments

• Tracking performance of post/tweet activity and reporting on effectiveness

• Adjusting strategy based on performance metrics

• Monitoring social areas for content ideas and developing those ideas

• Engage directly with users and social media influencers to increase brand awareness

• Coordinate social media campaigns

Required:

• A deep passion for all things social media; Do you tweet, blog and facebook as naturally as you breathe?

• Creativity; Do you get a thrill from putting images with words and sharing your creations with the world?

• Strategic thinker; Do you have the ability to understand the goal and execute reaching it, identifying key people and influencing them, as needed?

• Field skills; Are you comfortable interacting with people in the field capturing events and happenings in our communities?

• Entrepreneurial spirit; Are you interested to get involved on the ground floor of a cool startup and learn from 25+ year veterans of the design and development scene?

Preference will be given to applicants with a high degree of enthusiasm for social media, mobile applications and an entrepreneurial environment. Must be able to work well independently and remotely, as well as in the studio under the direction of others. You will not be required to come in the office. (telecommuting)

Compensation:

• This is an unpaid position; It is not employment

• We consider this an excellent learning opportunity and that candidates will be able to apply new skills demanded in the design, social media and mobile app industries

• Successful interns will be rewarded with a new iPad at the end of the 3 month period
