About Red Dot Ventures

Established in 2011, Red Dot Ventures is a seed-stage venture capital firm focused on investing and nurturing Singapore-based high-tech start-ups in sectors including Information Technology, Interactive Digital Media, Medical technology, Environment Technology and Engineering. It currently has 15 investments in its start-ups portfolio and target to invest in 12 start-ups each year.

Red Dot Ventures is an approved technology start-up incubator under the government of Singapore’s Technology Incubation Scheme administered by National Research Foundation. It has developed an incubation model to help its start-up succeed through a supporting eco-system that includes financing, mentoring and talents development.

TALENT SCOUTS

We’re looking for several confident & entrepreneurial individuals to be our “Talents Scout” on campus to recruit aspiring technopreneurs or sales & marketing professionals to join us for the above post.

JOB SCOPE

Primary Responsibilities

a) Build & maintain database of aspiring Technoprenuership & Sales/Marketing Talents in University

b) Organize & Deliver career thought leadership marketing events for aspiring Technoprenuership & sales/marketing professionals via on-line & off-line channels on Campus

c) Recruit & Match candidates for Internship & Employment with Red Dot’s investee companies & Start-up employers

Secondary Responsibilities

a) Engage tech spinoff & start-ups on campus

b) Identify investment opportunities & perform initial qualification

c) Recruit on campus start-up employers to hire interns and talents through our programs

TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP

a) On-the-job training with assigned mentor on our Talents Recruitments & Training program

b) Sit in as Observer on our Technoprenuership & Sales/Marketing training programs

c) Participate in our monthly entrepreneurship learning and networking seminar on experience sharing from entrepreneurs, venture investors & startups

Given the comprehensive trainings and mentorship we will provide to our successful candidates, it is our expectation that the engagement with the intern will be beyond the initial 3-4 full time internship months to include a part time engagement with the candidate when he returned to school after the internship ended.

• Sales & marketing orientation

• Aspiring to be Technopreneur or Sales/Marketing Professionals
