Job Description
Ocean Butterflies International Pte Ltd is an influential and comprehensive independent music powerhouse in Asia. Established in Singapore in 1986, we now operate in 5 regions: Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia. Artists we have produced include JJ Lin, BY2, A-Do and many more.
The Singapore branch of Ocean Butterflies is dedicated to bringing music to the masses in Singapore through various facets such as music courses at Music Forest, organizing and participating in exciting music and entertainment events as well as creating platforms for musicians to showcase their music.
With our recent relocation to *SCAPE, we wish to reach out more to the youth community in Singapore. Hence we have decided to start up a youth department within our company that will be responsible for all matters youth related. We want to create, manage and conduct projects for youths, by youths.
======= Job Scope =======
-The IT guru of the team, responsible for managing IT related issues, website and graphics design. Contributes innovative ideas and solutions to projects
-Design graphics, websites/webpages and other media for projects
-Set up and maintain necessary media platforms for projects (e.g. forums)
-Come up with creative fresh ideas for projects
-Assist in execution of projects and events, to lead and manage people and projects if necessary
======= Job requirements =======
-Strong aesthetic sense
-Proficient in graphics design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
-Proficient in web design (Using Dreamweaver or other software, skill in Flash is a plus)
-Capable of working under pressure
-Possess good self-discipline and time management skills; is self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and meet deadlines
-Able to think outside the box and provide innovative ideas and solutions to problems, come up with fresh ideas for projects and be resourceful when it comes to problem-solving
-Possess good work ethic; be productive and efficient with work and go the extra mile for projects
-Works well in a team
-Understands Chinese

Working hours:
-Flexitime, plan your own working hours no fixed working hours except for weekly work progress report meetings
-However all work must be completed by given deadlines
-Must make time for major projects/events and company commitments
