Job Description
New Horizons needs an Events & Marketing Coordinator for a 6 month period who is highly interested in IT, not just gadgets, but IT education. We evangelize to our students about the importance of certification in IT to validate your knowledge and experience. 

In joining the marketing department, you will need to be able to churn creative ideas in presenting IT education to our customers, be it through social media, EDMs or even in house collaterals and our website. 

You will also be working closely with the sales teams in providing them support with their course outlines, flyers and even planning and executing events such as Microsoft Partner Briefings and IT Shows. 

In planning and executing these events, you will need to be able to communicate eloquently with various external partners such as Microsoft, Oracle or event organisers. Other than external events, you will be working with the Marketing Director in planning internal events such as seminars or workshops to invite our database for previews of new products or for our sales teams trainings on new products. 

You may be required to stay throughout an event that may last till 10pm or on weekends. 

You will need to know basic knowledge in updating websites using WordPress CMS and Photoshop. Prior experience in coordinating events will be advantageous. Good command of English is a must.
