Marilyn Tan is one of Singapore's top jewellery designers. A designer of luxury accessories and ready to wear fashion jewellery. Her namesake company, established over 20 years ago, currently produces a range of products through her Marilyn Tan Jewellery and MTJ labels. Her jewellery is currently stocked in stores in 8 different countries and within certain flagship stores by Andrew Majtenyi, Peter Elliot, and Paul Smith and in some of the most prestigious cities in the world, including New York, Chicago, Munich,Toronto, and London.
The Marilyn Tan internship program offers students an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of a fashion jewellery company.
- Assist with stocks, sales, deliveries, and merchandising
- Assist with various office duties pertaining to the business
- Learn about participation in and assist with trade shows, including preparations and buyer interaction
- Showroom experience such showroom events and client relations
- Learn about expansion in the US markets while assisting the US market project manager
Requirements:
Basic Computers skills a must
Friendly and fast learner, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Student with focus on marketing or merchandising preferred.
Flexibility in schedule a must.
Hours
Mon~Fri: 10-6
Sat: Ocassionally, but with a substitute day off during the week.
