This position is based in Keywords Singapore Studio.
Responsibilities
• Recruit, manage and improve the Keywords freelance vendor pool for Chinese languages.
• Maintain vendor pool database (contact information, availability, areas of expertise, rate negotiation).
• Provide support to Project Management team to allocate vendors/freelancers best qualified for the nature of each project and within the allocated budget.
• Support Vendor Manager in anticipating and dealing with any vendor issues.
• Search and on-board new localisation resources to the qualified pool, using all available channels, including but not limited to freelancers portals, universities and current vendor referrals.
• Monitor, collect and analyse external vendor performance / quality across projects.
• Be a proactive member of the Vendor Management team, developing and contributing their expertise on Vendor projects and deliverables.
• Seek innovative and cost-effective solutions in vendor management activities.
• Act in confidence on all vendor matters.
• Deliver a first class vendor management service to all staff both locally and globally as needed.
Skills
• Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills, to communicate with mandarin-speaking vendors in China.
• Familiar in working with vendors and clients in China.
• Experience in localisation and/or vendor management is required.
• Strong communication, negotiation, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a problem solver and maintain a customer focus attitude.
• University degree holders are preferred.
