iPRECIATION is a renowned Fine Arts company established in Singapore in 1999. The gallery is reputed for representing the best of Modern and Contemporary Chinese and Southeast Asian art with a focus on Singapore. These artists include Nobel Laureate Gao Xingjian, Taiwanese Master sculptor Ju Ming and the pioneer of Hong Kong’s Modern art movement, Cheung Yee. Singapore contemporary artists such as Milenko Prvacki, Lee Wen etc. Through the staging of successful large-scale exhibitions, and the publication of outstanding art monographs, iPRECIATION has greatly contributed to the development of the Asian art scene. The gallery space is 5,300 square feet located at 50 Cuscaden Road, HPL House, #01-01. As such, we are looking for talented, motivated individuals to join the team
We are looking for a creative and self-motivated person to join the team, to independently create and design in the company. You must be able to work in a team.
Job Scope & Responsibilities -
1. Design of in-house publications and promotional literature
2. Regular update on the gallery website and social media channels
3. Design duties for gallery display materials
4. Photography of incoming art pieces, window displays and exhibition records
5. Gallery exhibition reinstallation
6. Bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the company
Requirements -
1. Competencies in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, xHTML & Flash
2. Skills in web software (Dreamweaver, Flash) and language (Html/CSS/PHP, Java) will be an advantage
3. Good written and oral communication skills
4. Photography experience
5. Ability to multiple-task
6. Ability to meet frequent tight deadlines and work under pressure
7. Ability to learn new computer applications
8. Diligence, with initiative and self-motivation
9. Previous work experience in the art industry is a plus
Other Information -
Working hours: Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm and Saturday, on shift from 11am to 3pm or 2pm to 6pm
