Are you naturally outgoing, confident and enjoy making friends? 

We are currently working on launching a fantastic new mobile app product that promises to completely shake up the lifestyle scene in Singapore. We launched the app in Shanghai in early 2013 and have already acquired over 250,000 downloads. The Singapore launch is expected to be the next step in our drive towards regional expansion.

We are seeking Business Development Interns to join our dynamic, growing team.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- You should be interested in entrepreneurship (especially tech / IDM) and should have a basic understanding of the technology space, at least as a consumer.

- You should have a go-getter attitude and be constantly willing to push your personal boundaries. You should be willing to break out of your comfort zone.

- You must be confident, sociable, open-minded and enjoy meeting and interacting with people. You should be someone who makes friends easily, including friends from different age groups, cultures, backgrounds, etc.

- You should be able to multi-task and operate in a (relatively) chaotic environment. Chaos doesn't scare you, it excites you - you are intellectually curious and always eager to learn about how things work.

- You want to add value to the people around you. You believe that success is attained by innovating and  creating new value, and not simply by transferring / extracting value from others to yourself.

WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR:

- You are insecure, have confidence issues, and are socially awkward. You are terrified at the thought of speaking to strangers. You are not able to strike up a conversation and require a "script" for every presentation and pitch.

- You are a a shameless social climber whose sole priority in life is to check the boxes and pad up your CV because you want to work for a bank or a blue-chip corporation where you can lead a very comfortable life without doing very much.

- You try to duck responsibility and do the minimum. You are obsessed with limiting your own liability and risk (otherwise known as covering your own ass), and constantly attempt to "arrow" other people when the shit hits the fan.

- You expect to be spoon-fed and hand-held. To you, "learning" means sitting down in a room somewhere and having someone deliver a lecture to you, point-by-point, while you passively absorb information. You try to avoid hands-on experiences because you are afraid to fail, or simply because you are afraid to do something that isn't familiar or comfortable.
