JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

You are a born leader and have a strong track record of running both digital and traditional media campaigns. You will work closely with stakeholders in the creation and delivery of all communication, internally and externally across a broad range of business units.

  • Work with Regional Marketing Director to develop insights and recommend new media opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing the routing of press releases, outreach to key media representatives and developing a media calendar that identifies key events that could generate media interest and opportunities for senior management proactive media engagement.
  • Engage with other marketing disciplines to coordinate strategies and efforts.
  • Manage and grow media coverage via targeted outreach, pitching and relationship building with key journalists.
  • Identify media influencers and establish and maintain ongoing relationships with influencers to support marketing goals and garner coverage.
  • Deliver cross-vertical high quality inspiring and well thought through communications.
  • Review and analyze effectiveness of PR efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English and proficient speaker of Korean language to liaise with Korean counterparties.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience of creating and implementing corporate communications strategy.
  • Worked in companies that are leaders in their respective industries, where PR is not only valued but considered core to accomplishing organizational and business objectives.
  • Successful hands-on manager of lean but elite internal teams rather than armies of staff and PR agencies.
  • Confident working with media, traditional and social.
  • Strong interest in lifestyle / current affairs and wide range of industries
  • Exceptional written, verbal and editing skills.
  • Tenacious, high attention to detail and passionate about driving the business forward.
