Job Description
For the Win! is Singapore’s innovative events company providing unique and awesome experiences for the athlete and supporters. We are looking for a few individuals to help make one of our events ridiculously amazing!
Flip for Charity with Special Guest Denise Keller is a youth gymnastics competition to be held at the Bishan Sports Hall on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012. As an intern for FTW !, you will be exposed to real world problems where it is encouraged to think “outside of the box” for solutions. You will be working in an open-office environment so you will have to be able to time-manage, set your own schedule and follow through with deadlines. You will also work both directly and indirectly with industry leaders in television, music and of course sports. By the end of the internship, you’ll walk away with a successful addition to your resume, a plethora of contacts and a warm heart knowing you helped make some young child’s day AMAZING!
Event Management Intern- SCOPE
• Assist in hospitality coordination with hotels, caterers and venue
• Preparation of FTW Awards & event presentation
• Liaise with contractors
• Event coordination- interns will be assigned specific role on event days with the understanding of preparation needed.
• Small accounting & finance duties
Requirements:
• Pro-active and takes initiative, able to recognize opportunities and be confident at making decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English, Chinese is a plus but not essential
• Applicants must be willing to work a minimum of 1 day a week from the comforts of their own computer (FTW!!) and must be available to work on event days.
A background and knowledge of sports is recommended, but not necessary. We would love a team from all walks of life; media, finance, hospitality, art, you bet!
