Job Description

Eyeota is looking for a high energy Personal Assistant to the CTO. Someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, has super multi-tasking skills, and would love working in a tech startup environment.

An ideal candidate for this position can think on his/her feet,  is extremely motivated and able to stay organized in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. S/he should demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal, formal and informal, listening and talking) and be a people-person. Projecting a positive, confident attitude is also key.

S/he also needs to love technology and would like to learn more about data and digital media.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient diary management, including arranging internal and external meetings
  • Arrange travel, accommodation and visas
  • Take notes or dictation at meetings
  • Provide assistance in the creation of PowerPoint decks
  • Daily monitoring of emails, screening enquires and requests and handling them when appropriate
  • Draft email responses for manager to approve and send
  • Carry out background research and present findings
  • Liaise with other staff and clients when necessary
  • Additional administrative work as required, including document management, and coordination with other staff members
  • Maintain office supplies

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Must be proficient with standard Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Experience with Google Docs and Gmail
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible as part of a small team
  • Attention to details and deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and manage own workload
  • Ability to think ahead and anticipate needs before they arise
  • Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
  • Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision
  • English mother tongue
  • Technology diploma or degree a plus
