Job Description

Role Objective:

The Dentsu Aegis Network Legal APAC team is looking to recruit an Intern who is expected to be an active member of the team and will be expected to assist with both complex projects and day-to-day responsibilities. The Intern will work closely with the team: attending and participating in internal and external meetings, collaborating on projects, receiving feedback and support, and generally learning about the practical dimensions of practicing law in-house, while providing timely and proactive support to the legal team in areas of research, organisation and department development.

We offer flexible hours but expect applicants to be able to commit at least 12 hours a week. Applicants should also be able to commit to a duration of at least 2 months (subject to extension, based on business needs).

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Pursuing a law degree at an accredited law school with a strong academic record

  • Previous legal internship and / or business-related work experience a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Positive and professional attitude, including dependability, timeliness, and discretion

  • Prior contract drafting experience (preferred but not required)

  • Ability to research legal and business issues and learn new concepts quickly

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse internal legal and business group
