CSM Academy was established since 2005 as a Private Education Institute to deliver Service Management programmes with a major focus on healthcare services education. We have developed our own intellectual property programmes in Aged Care, Therapy Services, Biomedical Science and is partnering with a UK University to deliver their BSc Nursing, MSc Clinical Research, MSc Health Administration and MSc Nursing Gerontology and/or Palliative Care in Singapore.

To date, we have trained over 2000 staff from all hospitals and nursing homes in Singapore in the BSc Nursing, Certificate in Aged Care, Certificate in Therapy Services and a Diploma in Service Management whereby we placed great emphasis on application of knowledge to the workplace and skills competency. We are also one of the first 60 private education institutes amongst the over 2000 schools which have obtained Edutrust Certification at the inception of the new private education bill and is also an Authorised Training Organisation of the Workforce Development Agency.

The Account & HR Assistant is responsible for keeping a full set of accounts. She/He has to ensure the compliance of all accounting standards and policies in accordance with relevant regulatory bodies and company policies and procedures.

The following are the key responsibilities:


Accounting
• In-charge of full sets of accounts
• Uploading of invoices and receipts into MYOB
• Prepare payment vouchers and issue cheques
• Post out cheque payments
• Issue and Filing of Invoices and Receipts daily
• Ensure that FPS is purchased for all course fee (specific for education industry only)
• Doing Daily Receipts Reconciliation with the bank statement
• Filing of Payment Vouchers and supporting documents
• Handle Petty Cash recording and disbursements
• Do monthly Bank Reconciliation
• Bank in cheques that are received
• Update database with FPS details
• Update of the Fixed Assets Register and Inventory
• Filing of GST quarterly submission
• Preparation of Monthly Financial Reports
• Assist with Annual Audit
• Generate and file Sales Register and Receipts Register monthly
• Process and file all journals
• Other ad-hoc assignments
• Assisting to serve students whenever needed
Human Resource
• Generate staff contracts for new full-time staff and part-time lecturers
• Process Payroll and CPF contribution
• Maintain staff file to ensure that all documents are filed according to SOP

Qualifications

1. Higher Nitec in Accounting or relevant accounting qualifications
2. Have at least one year of relevant experience
