Having started off as a videos-only, car review platform in 2013, Clutched has since evolved to meet the unique needs of its viewers, transforming into an all-encapsulating automotive news portal. Clutched aims to equip Singapore drivers with the insights required to make informed purchasing decisions, and, set in a weekly, entertaining, fast-paced environment, brings its highly engaged viewers the latest updates and trends revolving the constantly changing automotive scene. With each video averaging a total of 50,000 views, Clutched is now set with a major revamp of its portal, to grow rapidly in both content and viewership within the next 6 months.
The selected editorial intern will be fully involved. He/she will research story leads and facts on the Internet, write, fact-check, copyedit, post articles online, and review editorial submissions and correspondence. He/she will also have the opportunity to build and maintain Clutched social media accounts, gaining exposure to many aspects of publishing.
We are looking for an intern with exceptional writing and editing skills, sharp analytic skills, meticulous attention to detail and factual accuracy, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, Internet research and Social Media management (specifically Facebook, YouTube and Instagram).
