Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineering Intern who would like to experience working in a dynamic, innovative and results-driven environment.


The Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the Technical Consulting Team through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing and Service Delivery functions. You will also have opportunities to hone your skills by working on various assignments under the guidance of subject matter experts.


The Intern should be a team player with a ‘can-do’ personality, embrace challenges, and possess strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will undergo an orientation program to learn about our technologies, as well as participate in internal strategy meetings and external events.
You will finish the internship having formed close relationships with team members, mentors and fellow interns. You will also gain broad exposure to various aspects of technical consulting and a sound understanding of the Content Delivery Network (CDN) industry.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:


• Assist in pre- and post-sales support to customers in the establishment of services.
• Assist in facilitating incident responses and escalations to advanced support teams when necessary.
• Assist in ensuring technical issues faced by customers are resolved in a timely manner.
• Support the setting up of trials and conducting performance tests for prospective customers.
• Facilitate ongoing escalations of technical support requests or issues from existing customers.
• Participate in customer research and analysis so as to provide insightful recommendations to Sales and Marketing teams.
• Assist in the preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations to current and prospective customers.


REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
• Students majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems is required.
• Knowledge in networking fundamentals like TCP/IP, computer applications, security and web technologies is a plus.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Possess strong organisational skills, a keen desire to learn and ability to prioritise in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
