Job Description
Procurement Executive (6 Months Contract)

Job Responsibilities

  • ·         Handle day to day operations for purchasing, new product sourcing and/ or supplier quality management
  • ·         Invite quotations, verify and complete purchase requisitions for approval
  • ·         Prepare and follow up purchase orders and expedite delivery
  • ·         Qualify incoming goods upon receiving regularly
  • ·         Reconcile and analyse all order and ensure optimal inventory in order to fulfil operational requirements
  • ·         Analyse past and future inventory demand volumes, inventory trends and make forecast to minimise wastages or surplus
  • ·         Ensure discrepancies in purchases, purchase orders and invoices are reconciled within the month 
  • ·         Maintain good relationships with all suppliers and review periodically an effective supplier base that supports the business and operational requirements
  • ·         Ensure cost-effectiveness in business products and services without compromising on quality

Requirements

  • ·         Min 3-5 years of relevant experience in Procurement and Buying
  • ·         Candidates with experience in the F&B industry will have an added advantage
  • ·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • ·         Good initiative, analytical and strong in negotiation
