Born2Talk is a small, prospering startup that specializes in customising and choreographing M.I.C.E & Special Wedding Events. We also house some of the most talented Masters of Ceremonies & Events and Motivation Speakers. We have 100+ clients in 10+ different industries nationwide and we are searching for a Website Designer who has the motivation and personality to flourish in a small startup environment. As an intern, you will create (and assist in the creation of) websites for a wide range of our services targeting the high end corporate, communities, unmarried couples, etc.). You will also be responsible for some edits for existing websites as well as communicating with our team & the rest of our company concerning website creation progress.
Qualifications
Things we are looking for in an intern:
- Experience creating & editing WordPress websites. Esp with Divi Elegant Themes
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - Graphic design experience
- Knowledgable about interactive web-trends and e-commerce
- Effective & reliable communication skills to work directly with managers & coworkers
- Must be easy going with a good attitude! This a startup, not a corporate job!
- Available for at least 30 hours per week
- Consistent effort & professional work-ethic
- Organized, self-starting, & detail-oriented
Key Objectives:
- Analyze modern website design concepts & incorporate these into the design & creation of born2talk websites.
- Have an understanding of the website design process & problem solving methods as well as explore the effect certain website layouts that suit the branding potential of the company
- Translate abstract concepts & ideas verbally and visually using various forms of media to communicate.
Additional Information:
We are located near Lavender MRT along North Bridge Road. We are three stops away from Bugis Junction, SMU & LaSalle. *Ideal for students living close to central.
We are looking for someone to start ASAP & End Dates are flexible but the internship will last 3-4 months. This position could lead to full-time employment.
